journalist killed in Port Said

There were one or more explosions yesterday in Port Said, the Mediterranean town where the Suez Canal meets the sea– most famous internationally for the horrific football massacre there in February 2012 that killed one of our students among more than 70 other Ahli fans.

The man killed yesterday, reportedly beheaded by a gas tank explosion that may or may not have been deliberate, is named in the following tweet:

The guy killed in Portsaid explosion yesterday was a journalist. Salahuddien Hassan, 38, married, two children. May he rest in peace.
