Much of the private media in Egypt has been vociferously anti-Morsi, and now a number of media figures are facing various trumped-up criminal charges.

In other news, the estimated number of signatures on the petitions to remove Morsi from office have risen from 15 million to 22 million. If these are all legitimate signatures, that would perhaps be a majority of the voting-age public. (Egypt has more than 80 million people, but a huge number of children are among them.)
