What a great time I had in Perm, Russia a few weeks ago. Now Peter at ANTHEM has a post up that features a very recognizable photo of their new philosophy books table, HERE.

One thing I’ve noticed regularly throughout Central and Eastern Europe is the intense seriousness of the intelligentsia. They all know how to joke and have fun too, but in the various countries of the region, there is often a laser-like focus and frequently the ability to devour vast amounts of new material very quickly.
