Badiou and Philosophy

The Bowden/Duffy anthology Badiou and Philosophy is now available from Edinburgh University Press. I have an essay in there entitled “Badiou’s Relation to Heidegger in Theory of the Subject.” I saw the Table of Contents too long ago to remember who else is in it, but I remember that it was very solid people all the way through.

And though I’ve complained a lot lately on this blog about how anthologies take too long and I won’t do them much or ever in the future, this one went quite quickly. My experience with Edinburgh so far is that they are unusually fast. (Every stage of producing my Meillassoux book was extraordinarily streamlined.)
