how mosquitoes can survive being struck by raindrops

June 6, 2012

A fascinating piece in the NY Times, HERE.

It is now well established that mosquitoes do not attack all humans equally, but prefer some to others, for reasons that (as far as I am aware) have never been conclusively determined.

Mosquitoes always used to attack me in droves, but over the past 1-2 years they have begun to attack others instead. Whether that’s a good health sign, a bad one, or the chance effect of who I’ve been hanging out with, I’m not sure.
