I love having the sun up all the time. And love waking up to the sound of seagulls, one of my favorite animal species.

We went to an Indian restaurant on the square last night– the whole Lingis gang. We left at around 11:30 PM, and the square was deserted. Not strange, I suppose, that a city square would be deserted at 11:30 PM on a Sunday night. The strange part is that it was sill reasonably bright outside, and it’s strange to see a bright but deserted city.

This is a cute city, well worth a visit if you don’t know it.

Also made sure to get a bunch of Russian rubles while here. Planning ahead for the late June trip and all.
