interdisciplinary by necessity

Looks like I’ll be the external examiner on a thesis in the UK– in Archaeology. Previously I co-supervised one in Architecture (in the UK), and supervised one here in Cairo in the Department of Arab and Islamic Studies. No philosophy theses (we won’t have our own Philosophy graduate program in Cairo until September 2013.)

I’ve  fallen into the interdisciplinary zone where the wolves prowl and the seagulls cry for food.
