Feenberg’s lecture

In happier news, Andrew Feenberg gave a good lecture at the Canadian Embassy tonight. It was about 11 paradoxes of technology (or was it 10? I think it was 11). And all of them did seem to me like genuine paradoxes. He’s one of the few lecturers I’ve seen lately who used PowerPoint effectively, not just as a visual dumping ground for small-font peripheral text. Also seems like a charming man.
