Did I ever mention how dumb this part of the new WordPress interface is?

“Post 7,076 published

Next Goal: 7,080 Posts 4 to go”

And it’s a lot more in-your-face than that. Every time you make a post, it either congratulates you for reaching some idiotic minor milestone or else lets you know that it’s 3 or 4 away.

Oh yes, it’s always been my “goal” to make exactly 7,080 blog posts. I’m glad WordPress is keeping track of that for me, and wasting half the screen to do so.
