The Atlantic on Ron Paul

As I’ve suspected all along, it looks like Paul has closer links to the racist newsletters that used to go out under his name than he has previously admitted.

Paul has said some things I appreciate, but there has always been reason to be skeptical of the “Ron Paul is an incorruptible man of principle surrounded by venal politicians” view of the situation. Often I’ve had the sense that his supposed libertarianism was a cover for a more sinister form of paleo-conservatism.

Let’s see where the new Wall Street Journal reports lead.
