Six Americans working with a pro-democracy group are not allowed to leave Egypt.

Obama threatens to withhold U.S. aid this year if steps towards democracy are not taken. Good. I only hope Obama follows through on the threat. I’ve seen varying estimates as to how much the loss of U.S. aid would actually hurt the Egyptian government, but the least we can do is pressure them. It’s not a good government.
