two nights of philosophy in a row

Last night, I met with Bruno Latour’s grant team to discuss my reactions the manuscript. Then we all had dinner.

Tonight, I went to meet Tristan Garcia up near Place Stalingrad, and he had prepared a brilliant outline of all our philosophical agreements and disagreements.

Both events were stimulating but tiring, and tomorrow I will do different things instead– try to see the Stein art show at the Grand Palais, go over my London materials for the Friday/Saturday talks, and maybe do a bit of laundry.

It’s just about time to return to Cairo, anyway. After London I’ll have just one full day left in Paris.
