what I don’t miss about postmodernism

The Onion’s deconstructed “Burrito Bandito” menu reminds me of what I’m glad to see more or less in the wastebasket.

The funny thing is, it’s not even really an exaggeration. This is how one was supposed to write for an entire era of academic history. It sort of still happens from time to time, but not quite at the previous level of intensity.
