And by the way, I’m still reading Tristan Garcia’s Forme et objet on the side. I just won’t be able to turn my attention to it fully until January 4. Until then I’m reading 10-page snippets at a time.

The book is a treat. Garcia is only 30 years old, yet he already writes commandingly, interestingly, and originally about a very difficult philosophical topic. He’s “the real deal,” I would say so far.

Back to radio silence. It’s 3:30 PM in Paris, so the “eve” part of New Year’s Eve is coming up soon.
