one-hour delay

Not surprising, because the fog in Munich is so thick that it felt a bit dangerous to land here. (I forgot to mention that I’ve never been so happy to have a window seat as on this morning’s Malta-Munich flight. It was a gorgeous view of Switzerland, with lucid skies all the way. A spectacular geography lesson about northern Italy and the whole of Switzerland, in fact.)

Actually, I’m happy about the delay. Getting into Cairo at 7 PM or 8 PM makes no big difference, but I actually want to explore the Munich airport a bit more. Rarely do you pass through one quite this nice.
