nice airport

After all these years and 70-some trips to Europe, this is somehow my first time passing through the airport in Munich.

It’s very nice, up there with the best of them. It’s clean, quiet, and efficient in a way that Frankfurt’s better-known airport really isn’t. The architecture is pleasant, channeling just the right amount of natural light into all parts at ground level or above.

My only complaint is that the food here is a carnivore extravaganza, but of course Germany is often like that.
