It was vegetarian lasagna. But more importantly, I was sitting across from Paul Levinson, who was interviewed by Laureano Ralon HERE.

Concerning the answering machine message he received from Marshall McLuhan, to which he refers in the interview, I asked him if he had the foresight to keep it. The answer to the question was “yes.”

In fact, he says he ran across the cassette tape a few years ago and it still sounds good. He wants to convert it to an MP3 file and put it on the web, but had no time to do so at that juncture. He told himself he would put it in the safest possible place, and then did so, but has now forgotten where that safe place was. Most likely he’ll run across it again soon, so expect to see the file online before long.
