earthquake in eastern Turkey

Having just left Turkey, I regret to read about a MAJOR EARTHQUAKE that hit the east of the country.

The story doesn’t say whether anyone in Istanbul could feel it. But I was boarding the airplane right about that time (1:41 PM), and can say that I felt nothing.
