not a bad start to the weekend

Finished the South China Morning Post article on Lovecraft, an interview for a UK journal (to be announced shortly), and then started an article on Lingis’s new book Violence and Splendor.

I have to go to campus tomorrow, and plan to dig into Meillassoux’s Mallarmé book on the bus to and from campus. He’s generally a very clear read, as you all know, so it ought to go pretty quickly once I get started.

In October I have a couple of big things to finish off, and then November looms as the trickiest month of the year, with three challenging (but fun) pieces due.
