AC-DC, Back in Black

In the early 1980’s when AC-DC was at the height of their popularity, I detested and loathed them like no other band (perhaps because I despised the older players on the j.v. basketball team who insisted on playing that album at full volume in practice every morning- as miserable a memory as that of a torture chamber would be).

But I’ve had the MP3 of the whole of “Back in Black” for a few years. From time to time I pull it out, and must say– they are really good, for the kind of thing they are. That album is just one good song after another with no filler. It’s still not my favorite style, but one can only salute quality of any kind.
