good news for Meillassoux fans

He is in fact still working on the multi-volume version of L’Inexistence divine, and it seems to be moving along nicely.

The one from which excerpts are contained in the appendix of my book is the 2003 revision of the 1997 doctoral thesis version. He’s planning never to publish that version, but to put out a three-volume “gut rehab” version instead.

The version I was given would only have run to about 360 pages as a book in English. The new version is probably headed for well over one thousand pages.

More and more, I warm to the idea of the virtual god, without actually accepting it. He does have some pretty good points in arguing in favor of the concept.
