Copjec’s keynote

Just finished. She half-jokingly announced that her new paper title was “objet a – oriented ontology.”

And in fact, the overlap in the two lectures was stunning. Joan was also talking about Islamic theology, and about jouissance as an indirect mediator between non-communicating substances. Fascinating stuff, and I will need to read the paper carefully.
