Royals 4 – Red Sox 3

Beckett took the loss for Boston. He had pretty good stuff, or so it seemed from my distant right-field seat, but that 4th inning was enough for Kansas City to get the win.

Fenway’s a charmer, all right. I’m so glad I went.
