All the people I’ve ever known are resurfacing in droves in a very short period of time. Either I’ll be dead soon, or a big page-turning is about to occur.

Probably about 80% of that is simply high school reunion related. Even if certain people don’t show up, someone who did show up knows exactly where they are, and they lead you to further people very quickly, and that puts you in a mood to seek out lost non-high school people, and so forth.
