“At the Mountains of Madness”

Lovecraft clearly indicated at the end of the handwritten manuscript that it had taken 26 days to complete. But I’d be curious to know whether that means a little bit each day, or a small number of ultra-productive days. 80 pages of legal-sized paper is a long manuscript, but not out of range of 4 or 5 incredibly productive days in the span of a month.

There was no sign of an outline, and lots of crossing out, which leads me to believe that whatever “outline” he used was in his head only.
