on Iowa City

There are lot of things I like about Iowa City. But one of them is that it’s an excellent size to be able to move around a lot and still get a great deal done on any given day. I woke up with a demoralizingly long list of piddly little errands, and now it’s not even 11 AM and I’ve been knocking them down like bowling pins all morning. Feels good.

In a city like Cairo, if you have a list of seven things to do, you’ll get at most one or two of them done in a morning at most and then you’ll come home tired.
