universal kid behaviors

There are certain things that all kids seem to do everywhere. Since I don’t live with kids, I’m not desensitized to them, and can be fascinated by watching my nephews do them.

A typical example: blowing the wrapper off the straw. Are there any kids who don’t do that? (Actually, I don’t know if girls do it, since I just grew up with two brothers and now have only four nephews to watch, no nieces. But all boys do it, at any rate. And I’d be surprised if girls don’t do it too.)
