meltdown in progress?

I’m sitting in the hotel lobby with a TV in front of me, watching smoke or steam come from the nuclear plant in Japan where the explosion happened. A meltdown is said to be possible. Flip on the TV if you’re awake.

A 25-year-old man in California was also killed by the tsunami when it reached there. Apparently he was trying to take a photo of the incoming wave, and was swept out to sea by it.
