mostly bad news in the Middle East

I check the Middle East news for the first time in half a day, and don’t like much of what I read.

Qaddafi may RETAKE RAS LANUF, whose capture was one of the jewels of the opposition achievements.

I also just received an email alluding to Tahrir events, about which I do not know but the tone of the message was vaguely unpleasant. I’m on the run with pre-lecture tasks, however, and can’t look into it for some hours to come.
