hepatitis and gold nanoparticles

This is some of my favorite research being done here on campus. Hassan Azzazy, a chemist who is now Associate Dean of the School of Sciences and Engineering, is USING GOLD NANOPARTICLES as a diagnostic tool for hepatitis. (Egypt has arguably the worst hepatitis problem in the world, and the reasons for that aren’t entirely clear.)
