celebrations outside Khaled Said’s home in Alexandria

A small but lively crowd assembled last night beneath the Alexandria home of murdered blogger Khaled Said, whose merciless beating death last year might be viewed as the slow-burning spark that led to the January 25 explosion.

Nice gesture by this crowd to think of Said and his family.

At around the 2:10 mark, one of Said’s family members appears on the balcony and displays photographs of him. Great moment. But even better is when someone comes downstairs near the end with a large framed portrait of Said.
