a couple of emails just received from Cairo
February 8, 2011
A circular email:
“To those at home or going to work tomorrow, whether you are in Egypt or out of Egypt:if you are supporting the people in Tahrir ,then try to wear RED tomorrow. This will show everyone that even if you can’t join the square, but you are supportive and agreeing. We want to tell the people that we are all TAHRIR SQ even if we are not there. We’re 80 million ,please share and spread”
A personal email from someone who was there today:
“Tahrir is just an amazing sight these days, and it’s not implausible that in time we might be looking back on this event like the fall of the Berlin wall.”
Tunisia started this and deserves the credit. But Egypt is the largest Arab country, and the biggest domino on the table.
