Eslam Ra’fat

Eslam was 18 years old, and a resident of the Dar al-Salam neighborhood of Cairo, which is somewhat south of downtown. On Friday, January 28 he was one of those struck by a diplomatic van speeding through the crowd on Qasr al-Aini Street near Tahrir Square. He suffered a fractured skull and died of his injuries.
