you won’t believe this

A flight attendant just told me that the people who left the plane did so because they “don’t like Frankfurt.” Seriously.

They’re going back into Cairo and waiting until tomorrow to try to book a flight to a place they like better.

I certainly hope for their safety, but if they don’t make it, this will surely be a “Darwin Awards” slam dunk.

[ADDENDUM: This turned out to be an incorrect story, thankfully. The passengers are Egyptian-American dual citizens forced to leave the plane because of “improper paperwork.” I hope that’s all there is to it. In either case, the delay is the same.]
