I still haven’t lost my fascination for the cover design. If that isn’t the best cover of all time for a philosophy book, I don’t know what is.
Black book covers are always the best, and take the black cover and add a couple of anthropomorphic hedge-clippers (and it’s a charcoal drawing, not a photo of a sculpture as I originally assumed) and you have a classic. Even most musical album covers can’t reach this level of excellence.
[ADDENDUM: Stated differently, I would love to own a t-shirt of that cover, and I can’t think of too many philosophy books where that is the case.]
