Atari, “Adventure”

Reading Bogost also made me wonder if I could find Atari’s “Adenture” game on line.

The answer is YES.

The weird thing is, I made it through the maze on the first try. And there was no indecision: every turn felt right. There is still muscle memory getting me through a videogame maze I last moved through in about 1983. How is that possible?

Problem: looks like this version is unable to randomly rearrange the objects, so it’s the same game every time. And the bat is absent. This version was recreated as a programming task by someone, and perhaps the bat was simply too tricky for such an exercise.

Also, I disagree that the dragons are “chicken-like.” They are ducks.
