That thing shocked me again, just from touching the metal. It’s a killer. The electricians came and are trying to fix it right now…

They did send the A Team this time. These guys inspire confidence. They say there was a leaking thermostat inside the water heater that was causing a short-circuit. The heater is being retired and replaced.

On the way out the door they asked if there were any other problems. I showed them one with an a/c unit. They fixed it in less than 3 minutes.

The other electricians have been fine too, but these guys (since John Lennon came up last night) were the Beatles of electricians. The air of competence and seriousness was overwhelming. Always nice to breathe the air of hyper-competence, in whatever field. It creates a sense of something like mild awe.
