higher education in the UK

I hate to see the UK move toward an American “crushing debt burden for everyone” cost model, but it looks like THEY’RE DOING JUST THAT.

I’m probably the last person to have heard this, given my unusual circumstances of the past 48 hours, which have not been conducive to alertness about the external world.
