post-event thoughts

It was a very successful event today at UCLA. We’re now wrapping it up over drinks: Ian, Levi, Tim and I, plus students Jeff McClenahan (UC-Santa Cruz, and soon Cairo) and Daniel Sacilotto (UCLA), both of them previously known to me by email.

Dinner soon. Lots of new ideas were aired today, and it will take awhile to digest them all. It was a pleasure as always with this group.
