I haven’t had the chance to read Towards Speculative Realism yet. It arrived hours before I left on safari, and then during my mere 4 days back in Cairo between the safari and Los Angeles, our department’s outside evaluators were visiting.

However, it’s been fun to see parts of it quoted by others in the blogosphere. The interesting thing about this book is that, with I think just one exception (the Time, Space, Essence essay), none of the chapters were ever meant to be published.
