YouTube is loaded with gems. I actually never realized that there was such good-quality live film of Charlie Parker out there (he died in 1955 at age 35).

In this clip, Bird is the second one to play. I’m a sax player myself, and it’s a lot harder to make an alto sound good than a tenor, but not for the greatest jazz improviser in history. Effortless.
