release date on Meillassoux book

The schedule release date is even better than I thought: July 2011, not September.

The cover was already designed quite a long time ago, but I can’t post it here until the jacket copy is written and Edinburgh’s marketing people are ready for it to go out into the world.

What I can say (and already said some months ago) is that it’s a rather striking white cover, featuring a photo by Peter Hallward of Meillassoux emphasizing an argument by pointing his finger, with a ghostly and somewhat melancholic-looking Iain Hamilton Grant hazily visible in the background. It’s one of the classic Speculative Realism workshop photos from Goldsmiths College in April 2007, and I’m glad Hallward allowed us to use it.
