Speaking of The Quadruple Object, I’m working on the second set of proofs tonight as well. And I’m liking the book a lot, which is rarely the case at proofs stage. It’s a quick read, and as befits its length gets quickly to the point.

It’s also an effective book for me as an author, which is a big part of why I like it. That is to say, the places where I stopped building and want to pick up building later are clearly visible while reading. Normally you can’t use your own books for inspiration, but in this case it may be possible.
