what? German WWI reparations?

This is the most ridiculous new fact (new to me, at least) that I’ve heard in a long time… Germany just finished paying off WW I REPARATIONS? I sort of assumed that was an issue left in the distant past. A lot has happened in Europe since WW I, after all.

Nice of the Germans to keep on paying it, but isn’t this a bit ludicrous? WW I. Let it go.
