Malta

Malta is still great, though I think it was a little better in January, for reasons that aren’t hard to determine.

*The number of people here now is just about the worst possible: too many in the obvious sense, but too few in the sense that things like snorkelling trips are no longer running due to lack of sign-ups.

*It’s too humid.

*The seas are too calm; none of those crashing waves beneath desolate paved walks that I loved in January.

The bright side of the third point is that I will be able to take the trip to Sicily tomorrow that I was unable to do in January due to stormy seas. Sicily is only 90 minutes from here by boat.
