the book that still eludes me

I’ve found every book I wanted so far on this trip. The only one that’s been on my mind that still eludes me is Albert Giraud’s original French version of Pierrot Lunaire, which I was stunned to discover in print last week.

This one’s not so daunting, because I know exactly where to get it: Amazon.fr. And that’s what I’ll use if return to Cairo empty-handed. But it’s more fun to have another little Easter Egg Hunt going in Paris. Gives me a good excuse to walk into bookstores whenever I pass them.
