latest interview

May 12, 2010

Here is my INTERVIEW OF LAILA EL BARADEI, our Associate Dean of Global Affairs and Public Policy, but perhaps best known as the sister of Nobel Prize winner and newly minted Egyptian political figure MOHAMMED ELBARADEI (he prefers no space in the family name, while his sister uses the space).

She discusses her brother and Egyptian politics mostly nearly the end of the interview.

Incidentally, these interviews (a new feature of the Faculty Bulletin) have been a big hit on campus this year. And the credit for this idea can go to none other than Paul Ennis. It was his fine job of interviewing on his blog that gave me the idea to do it on campus in Cairo. Thanks, Paul.
