more on the international reaction to MDX

Facebook is reasonably public, so I’ll repost some of the latest here:
First, the Middlesex administration emails seem to have been shut down:
“Rada Ivekovic, College international de philosophie, could not send her protest letter to the 4 adresses : they are now ‘invalid adresses’… (La rançon du succès?!)”
“We’ll check tomorrow morning with the Collège International de Philosophie: they want to send an official statement. Same thing with the Dept of Philosophy at Princeton.”
“I spoke to Ed Casey this afternoon and he is organizing a group statement from the American Philosophical Asoociation…”
I suppose they weren’t expecting quite this much international kickback. But rule #1 in running a university ought to be this: don’t close your best and most famous department.
