speaking of flight hassles

Regarding the arrest at JFK of the Times Square bomb suspect:

“Officials called the plane back, the airline said. All of the passengers were taken off, and they, their luggage and the Boeing 777 were screened before the flight was allowed to depart, about seven hours late, at 6:29 a.m. It was not immediately known when Mr. Shahzad bought his ticket. Emirates said in a statement that a total of three passengers were removed from the plane.”

Imagine that you’re siting on the plane right next to this guy, ready to take off for Dubai. The flight is called back to the terminal for some unknown reason, then police storm onto the plane and arrest your row-mate (at least it sounds like that’s what happened). Then you wait around for 7 hours and fly on to Dubai as scheduled. Crazy day for some of those passengers.
