You probably know it, but in case some don’t: the spigot is not yet turned off. Oil is still spilling from the ocean floor.

And worse yet: “Experts also have cautioned that if the spill continues growing unchecked, sea currents could suck the sheen down past the Florida Keys and then up the Eastern Seaboard.”

It apparently only took one day for the oil spill to triple in size, as well.
